A DESSANGE HOST/ESS HAS THE FOLLOWING DUTIES

  • Welcome a client from the moment they step in and serve according to the scheduled appointments 
  • Follow throughout the appointment and until the time they leave 
  • Direct and inform, staying at their disposal and listening to their needs 
  • Answer telephone inquiries in compliance with brand reception quality expectations 
  • Manage appointments and transmit messages to salon employees if necessary, the better to coordinate client appointments 
  • Manage the schedule with good organizational skills with a view to optimizing the time and well-being of clients and staff 
  • Working the till for the client at the end of the service 
  • Fill in the client database with the contact details, cellphone number, e-mail address, and birthday 
  • Develop customer loyalty by giving the opportunity to benefit from all the loyalty operations (second appointment card, new client box, birthday mail, etc.) and preparing the next appointment 
  • Present the products according to the recommended brand merchandising 
  • Participate in implementing promotional operations and partnerships set up by the salon or brand 
  • Care for your station and work space according to DESSANGE hygiene, safety, and cleanliness rules

REQUIRED SKILLS

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP SKILLS

  •  Knowing how to welcome clients to the salon in accordance with DESSANGE customer welcome criteria (welcome speech, taking a coat, offering coffee, leave-taking) 
  • Knowing how to greet clients on the telephone in accordance with DESSANGE customer welcome criteria (welcome speech, qualifying the request, providing an answer, leave-taking) 
  • Knowing how to make appointments face to face or on the phone (qualifying the request, rephrasing the appointment date and time, full leave-taking) and knowing how to offer additional services 
  • Knowing how to advise and listen to the customer 
  • Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, being smiling, welcoming and ready to listen 
  • Being friendly and available 
  • Knowing how to hold a conversation suited to the profile of each client 
  • Being adaptable 
  • Speaking several languages (Armenian, English, Russian, etc.) 

BUSINESS SKILLS

  • Knowing how to present and sell a product or service 
  • Knowing how to develop customer loyalty 

TECHNICAL SKILLS 

  • Knowing how to work with the client management system, knowing the software 
  • Knowing how to use the Internet + Office pack (Outlook, Word, Excel)

APPEARANCE

Impeccable appearance, being in all circumstances perfectly styled, made up, and dressed in accordance with the requirements of the DESSANGE brand image.

WORKING CLOTHES

  • Wear the required black DESSANGE clothing (black jacket, black trousers, white top) 
  • Wear closed black shoes with non-skid soles to ensure the host/ess's safety

WORKING TOOLS/EQUIPMENT

  • Telephone exchange, schedule 
  • Computer

TRAINING

Throughout their path in the DESSANGE network, host/esses must keep up and maintain their proficiency levels. For this purpose, they require regular training and must: 

  • Follow "activity" training courses at the DESSANGE Training Centre 
  • Follow training modules and courses on the DESSANGE "Learning Lounge" 
  • Follow "product" training in order to be able to recommend and sell the products distributed in the salon
